Soft Shift Vase

Description

This handmade vase is crafted from black clay and finished with a soft white speckled glaze, creating a gentle contrast between depth and light. Measuring approximately 9 cm high and 7 cm wide, it has a grounded, compact presence that suits both small spaces and quiet, curated displays. The form begins with a rounded base that sits comfortably in the hand, then subtly transitions into a soft triangular profile as it rises — a shape that adds sculptural interest while maintaining a sense of calm balance.
The dark clay base provides a rich, earthy foundation, while the speckled glaze settles over the upper half in delicate, organic patterns. This interplay of tone and texture highlights the natural beauty of the clay beneath, allowing the piece to feel both modern and deeply connected to its material origins.
Whether holding dried stems or standing alone as a small art object, the vase brings warmth, texture, and a gentle sense of movement to its surroundings. Every curve, glaze variation, and tactile detail reflects the slow, thoughtful rhythm of hand‑building, making this piece a quiet, intentional companion for any space.
