Description
Roses are red, violets are blue… and these native wildflowers are sun-printed in Prussian blue too.
Woodland Love is a heart made from tiny native wildflowers that grow near my home. This piece honours the native species and habitats near my home, and the decades I've spent working in conservation to protect them.
The flowers are tiny, so get up close. It rewards a good look. Give it for a wedding, an anniversary or Valentine's Day, or to the person who'd pick the bush over a dozen roses any day.

What is a cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a photographic process that's over 180 years old. I paint paper with a light-sensitive solution, lay real plants on top and let the sun do the rest. The plants leave white silhouettes on deep blue.
