Snow Gum high arched footed bowl

Description

My practice explores generous, grounded ceramic forms inspired by ancient vessels. Working physically and intuitively with clay, I create sturdy pots and bowls with arched feet and layered, patinated surfaces. My surfaces draw inspiration from nature—rock faces, weathered stone, sand and in this case the bark and environment of the snow gum. Through expressive glazes and loose brushwork, I create functional and decorative pieces that bring ancient, earthen aesthetics into the modern home. 23 cm w x 11 cm h
