Simple, versatile, and built to last, this handcrafted S Hook is individually forged from 6mm round steel using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Measuring approximately 80–85mm in height, these hooks are designed for both practicality and rustic charm, making them ideal for hanging tools, mugs, pots, lanterns, keys, garden items, and countless other household or workshop essentials.
Each hook is shaped by hand at the anvil, creating subtle variations that give every piece its own unique character. The forged finish showcases the beauty of handcrafted steel and offers a timeless alternative to mass-produced hardware.
At Butler Blacksmithing, each piece is made in my Australian workshop using traditional forging techniques and modern craftsmanship. Raw steel is shaped by hammer and anvil into functional pieces designed to be both beautiful and durable. No mass production, no shortcuts—just honest craftsmanship and a passion for working with steel.
The steel is finished with a coating of natural beeswax sourced from my own beehives, helping to protect the surface from rust while enhancing the texture and character of the forged metal.
