Red and purple concrete donut vase

Description

Handmade in my Buderim, Sunshine Coast studio with eco-concrete, this vase in a groovy donut design has bright colours of red and purple and will hold a single stem or a small collection of flowers from the garden. Here I've used a pretty single stem of a native red bottle brush in water.

The vase is fully sealed and ready to use, the well can be filled with water as it's fully sealed! It also comes with a glass test-tube to pop in your favourite flower/s or garden cuttings in if you wish to use that instead. Another way to use the vase is to pop in a dry stem, some purple fountain grass perhaps…. The well of the vase is 5.5cm deep.

This stunning one-off home decor piece is intended to bring a vibrant yet elegant touch to your home but also makes an amazing gift for any occasion — birthdays, housewarmings, weddings, thank-you gifts, or just because. It’s also perfect for anyone who loves unique home decor, handmade things, and pieces that bring personality and warmth into their space. Comes in a beautiful presentation box ready for gifting.

Eco-concrete is a water-based, non-toxic micro-cement used for decorative interior finishes, furniture and homewares. It creates a smooth, breathable, concrete-inspired texture, used for handmade home decor items, with a minimal / low carbon foot print. It’s also great fun and very satisfying to work with!

Dimensions are 13cmW (at widest point), 14cmH and 4.5cmD. This vase is quite chubby and heavy, weighing in at 775g!
