Aspen the Tasmanian Devil

Description

Meet Aspen the Tasmanian Devil!
He is a cute little fellow hand embroidered with love onto a felt base using DMC embroidery cotton. The work is 8cm x 8 cm. I worked with Tasmanian devils for many years in my previous career, so they are dear to my heart. I love working with textiles and colour and creating stories that bring my little animals to life.
Aspen has his own little story which will be provided as a printed copy too. Here is his story…
"What very few people knew was that his name was Aspen. He was actually a very quiet fellow and liked to keep to himself. But he had grown up knowing he had a responsibility to keep up the reputation of the Tasmanian Devils… plus it really did help keep strangers and travelling salesmen from knocking on his door. What Aspen really enjoyed was snuggling under a pure wool blanket in his comfy upholstered chair with a good book. The only thing voracious about Aspen was his appetite for reading !
Sometimes Mitzi the Fairy Armadillo would stop by as she knew he was really a softie at heart and they would dance a gentle waltz together, as it was the only dance he knew. But mostly they sat quietly enjoying each others company and sipping Earl Grey tea in the moonlight."
Hope you enjoy this little palm sized treasure.
