Bright Blue Pansy Medium Teacosy

Description

Pansy are always so popular on a teacosy. This has been made for a medium teapot that can be round or oval in shape. Made by me near Bellingen on the mid north coast of NSW. Perfect accompaniment for a cup of tea of your choice.

Features:

Made from good quality bright blue acrylic yarn as the base

Detailed embellishments made from 100% cotton for the pansies and leaves. This one has a ring of maroon, yellow and blue pansies around the top of the cosy

The spout and handle opening are universal and wide so the teacosy can be placed either way

The base of the teacosy has been crocheted in the brioche manner so it is quite stretchy. Hat elastic has been crocheted into the base to accommodate this stretchiness.

The top of the cosy has been left open so it can accommodate any knob on your pot.

Designed to be easily pulled on and off a variety of shaped pots which makes it an ideal gift for someone with less nimble fingers. Can stretch quite wide but would not fit a large round teapot.

Size is approximately 17 cm high and 18 cm wide without stretching.

Suitable for a roundish to oblong teapot.
