These beautiful hand painted blackwood ply earrings are part of our Australiana collection celebrating some of the iconic animals and plants that make this country special.
These earrings are designed and made by us in our studio and workshop from Blackwood Ply and Sterling Silver and hand painted using non-toxic water based acrylic paints.

This little guy is the Native Australian Bilby. A member of the Bandicoot family and a marsupial, the Bilby likes it hot and hangs out where there's plenty of arid rocky soil to dig in. They use their big hairless ears for cooling and (no surprise) have amazing hearing. They are under threat from predators but are much stronger and tougher than their cute appearance would suggest.
