Description
Ever walked straight past a tiny wildflower? (Don't worry, they're very good at hiding.) This print is full of them: small Australian native wildflowers, seed heads and grasses from the grassy woodlands of the Southern Tablelands of NSW, sun-printed in deep blue.
I'm a conservation ecologist turned artist, and for many years I've collected, pressed and identified the native flowers that grow there. Here you can see
details in the petals that usually go unnoticed.
Love the look of pressed flowers? This gives you the same botanical feel, with no fragile petals to look after. One for wildflower lovers, bushwalkers and botanical art collectors.

What is a cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a photographic process that's over 180 years old. I paint paper with a light-sensitive solution, lay real plants on top and let the sun do the rest. The plants leave white silhouettes on deep blue.
