Moon Fire - Black Opal & Moonstone Wire Wrapped Pendant

Description

Moon Fire is a one-of-a-kind pendant featuring an Ethiopian black opal paired with rainbow moonstone.

I chose these two stones because they work so beautifully together—the opal has flashes of colour that appear as it catches the light, while the moonstone has a much softer glow.
That contrast between fire and moonlight is where the name came from.

I wrapped the stones by hand in silver-filled wire, adding a woven bail and simple flowing

details that allow both stones to remain the focus.

Opal and moonstone are often associated with intuition, inspiration and new beginnings.
Handmade by me in Mudjimba, Queensland.
