Abstract numbers hand made journal with bookmark

Description

Abstract numbers hand made journal with bookmark. The original journal design combines a hand painted and photocopied paper collage cover with 164 pages of crisp white 90 gsm sketch paper. Perfect for notes or drawings, this is art you can look at and use.

The soft raw umber background tones and dark lettering contrast with a playful colour-pop splash of flouro orange. Bright tangerine brushstrokes continue on the accompanying hand crafted bookmark.

Made in the Mackay region of the Queensland tropics, this is my latest adventure in hand made artist books. I love exploring ways to blur the lines between 2D imagery and 3D structure. Experimental book formats provide an inspiring range of possibilities, which I will continue to investigate.

Book dimensions are: W 15.5cm x H 21.2cm x D 1.2cm (approximately A5)
