Corn Doll

Description

Rooted in ancient harvest traditions, corn dolls are more than simple woven figures—they are vessels for the spirit and magic of the harvest. Traditionally crafted from the last sheaves of grain, these little figures were believed to embody the spirit of the crop, carrying its abundance, fertility and protective energy through the darker months.
In witchcraft, a corn doll can become a powerful magical poppet, representing the land, the harvest, prosperity, the ancestors, protection or even yourself. Dressed, decorated, blessed, placed on an altar or anywhere in the home as a symbol of abundance and the turning of the Wheel.
