'New Day' | Original mixed media artwork | 9 x 12 inches

Description

Original mixed media art.

This piece is wondrous to me! I actually painted it in browns and greys. I hadn't sealed it and left it in the sun by accident and the browns turned a little orange and the greys lightened a little and it was like another world appeared! I couldn't help, then, but draw in the toadstools and the other fungi that seemed to just belong in this magic scene.

This alcohol ink artwork is a mesmerizing display of fluidity and vibrant color. The piece

features rich, saturated hues that blend seamlessly, creating a dynamic and organic composition. Swirls of deep browns intermingle with bold splashes of orange and gold, evoking a sense of movement and energy.

The alcohol ink technique allows for intricate, ethereal patterns to emerge, as the inks flow and merge in unpredictable ways. The translucent quality of the inks adds depth and luminosity, making the colors appear to glow from within. This piece captures the spontaneous beauty of the medium, inviting viewers to get lost in its captivating and ever-changing landscape.

It is now sealed and less sensitive to light!

I hope you love this little accident as much as I do!
