Chopping Board - "The Tri Timber Grid"

Description

I have constructed this board in my Southern Highlands workshop, it combines the beauty of Black Walnut, Cherry, Maple and Purpleheart. The different timber colours create a distinctive pattern that we call the The Tri Timber Grid.

I have carefully cut and assembled the blocks to create the end-grain surface. It's a solid, substantial board suitable for everyday food preparation, and it also looks great left out on the kitchen bench.

The end-grain construction is designed for regular chopping and is generally considered a knife-friendly option. The board has been finished with food-grade mineral oil and local southern tablelands beeswax to help nourish and protect the timber.

Sizing – Please note that boards are often not the exact sizing you choose as we prioritise the pattern and how it looks over the size so they may be slightly smaller or larger than the size ordered.

Patterns – Can alter slightly depending on the size of board you choose.
