MWaT Custom Board Butter

Description

Made by me from a blend of food safe oils and beeswax, this soft butter smells amazing and is great for restoring serving and cutting boards.
After trying many different brands of board oils and butters, I was inspired to get into the kitchen and blend this for myself.
Mostly for my newly finished products, but also for a couple of restoration projects.
However, it turned out a bit too good to not share.

Ingredients;
Food Safe Mineral Oil
Bees Wax
Coconut Oil
Orange Oil

And yes it smells amazing!

A small amount rubbed onto the timber is all that is needed.
let it rest for a few hours or overnight, then buff with a soft cloth – easy as that.

Like real butter this product goes soft over 30 degrees – this makes it easier to apply and for it to penetrate into the timber.

My wife has also used this to tidy up furniture where commercial products seem to have been inadequate.
