Ceramic Yunomi Cup in 'Ember' Glaze

Description

Inspired by the East Asian tradition of the yunomi, the handleless tea cup, these small wheel-thrown cups ask you to slow down, to wrap your hands around them and feel the warmth. If it's too hot to hold, it's too hot to drink: a simple, centuries-old wisdom baked right into the form. Perfect for slow mornings. Made for tea, coffee, or whatever you sip slowly.

These wheel-thrown cups are made from black midfire clay and glazed in a beautiful shino matcha, a beautiful matte, ashy finish that shifts with the light, catching the texture of the clay beneath.

Each cup 7cm diameter x 5cm high

Food & dishwasher safe, although handwashing is recommended.
